New Policing Model

Reedley, California Police Chief Jose Garza spoke with me about his policing model for this documentary. Mennonite Central Committee and a number of other local agencies have formed a successful partnership with the police department to implement a restorative justice program in the local school.  He offers an alternative way to think about the role of a police officer in the community. His brief comments add significantly to the current debate engulfing this, and other, nations.
